Bayport Rail Terminal Announces Expansion Project

FEBRUARY 2, 2009/HOUSTON – Bayport Rail Terminal announces an expansion project providing additional railcar storage capacity in multiple phases:

1. Phase 1 will provide an additional 50 spots to be available after February 25, 2009.

 

2. Phase 2, running concurrently with Phase 1, will provide an additional 200 railcar spots to be fully available mid-May, 2009. Portions of Phase 2 capacity will be accessible as early as mid-February, 2009.

 

Bayport Rail Terminal provides hopper and tanker railcar storage, including equipment with loaded and residue hazmat contents (excluding loaded TIH compounds). In addition, a fully-permitted third-party railcar cleaning facility is available at the Bayport facility.
